Primary Networks

MultiPlan delivers primary PPO network access under the PHCS, HealthEOS and Beech Street brands and through HMA in the Southwest and Hawaii.

The PHCS brand offers access in all states to over 4,500 hospitals, 70,000 ancillary care facilities and 700,000 healthcare professionals. No matter where health plan participants live, work, and seek healthcare, they have access to the largest independent primary PPO in the nation. This access is available in three ways, giving our clients greater flexibility in structuring their benefit plan designs:

  • Primary PPO access nationwide or regionally through the PHCS Network, with seamless access for participants whether they seek care in their backyard or across the country.
  • Extended PPO access with PHCS Healthy Directions, opening up access to the rest of the country for plan designs that call for use of a local HMO, POS or PPO.
  • A virtual payer network through PHCS Savility, which offers primary PPO network discounts on par with the top payers in select markets across the country. For more information, visit

With an endorsement from NCQA, one of the country's most recognized quality assurance organizations, PHCS Network clients know and appreciate that their health plan participants access a network of the highest quality.

In Wisconsin, the HealthEOS Network offers primary access to 141 hospitals and nearly 26,000 healthcare professionals, including every one of the state's major health systems. More than 100,000 people access HealthEOS as their primary PPO. Learn more here.
