We created this webpage to keep you informed about MultiPlan's HIPAA 5010 and ICD-10 compliance plans. The page contains links to the latest versions of our Companion Guides as well as links to other documents relating to our plans. We will update this site regularly so please check back often.
MultiPlan's 5010 Implementation Timeline
The following outlines a timeline for our 5010 compliance plans. As a reminder, we expect to continue supporting X12 4010 for the foreseeable future.

Survey
Clients who have not previously responded to our survey may do so here.
Vendors who have not previously responded to our survey may do so here.
Testing with Clients/Vendors
We are using the responses to the survey we distributed earlier this year to create a testing schedule with our clients and vendors. If you didn't supply a date in the survey, please let your account manager know when you will be ready for testing. We plan to be ready to begin testing in January 2011 and we require 90 days advance notice from a client or vendor before we can start testing.
ICD-10
We are in the initial stages of evaluating the change from ICD-9 to ICD-10 and are on track to begin a detailed gap analysis by January 2011 in keeping with CMS recommendations.

For Clients Who Also Use Viant's Networks
You can also download the Viant 5010 837 Companion Guide here. Because MultiPlan's and Viant's networks -- and therefore our repricing engines -- will not be integrated by the January 1, 2012 HIPAA 5010 compliance date, our 5010 integration activities will remain distinct.
